GET TO KNOW THE ARTISTS
Joey G
For more than three decades now, Joey G. continues to make his mark as one of the Philippine’s OPM Royalties with his signature high notes and romantic tracks. His talent was also well-received in international music scenes like in the USA, Japan, Europe, Dubai, Singapore and Australia. For the longest time, Joey G. was the front-liner of one of the biggest Pinoy bands of the country, making him one of the most iconic musicians of his time. But even after pursuing a solo career, he continues to impress the audience with the same voice that won a lot of hearts over the year.
Morissette Amon
Dubbed as Asia’s Phoenix, this Cebuana artist came to fame after joining several singing competitions on air. Her big break came when she competed and became a strong contender in the first season of ABS CBN’s The Voice Philippines in 2013. Soon, she officially became one of the mainstay Birit Queens of ASAP. Since then, Morisette bagged several awards under her name including New Female Recording Artist of the Year by the 7th PMPC Star Awards for Music and Female Artist of the Year on M.O.R Pinoy Music Awards. Morisette did not only continue to impress the Filipinos with her talent, but she was also recognized by international artists like Jessie J whom she had the rare opportunity to perform with during her concert in the Philippines. She was also chosen to be part of Michael Bolton’s show, “Bolt of Talent” in 2017.
Ice Seguerra
One the country’s most versatile singer-composers and guitarists, Ice Seguerra rose to fame at a tender age as a child star after joining a children’s contest on TV. Later on, he pursued a career in music introducing us to his first single, “Pagdating ng Panahon”, which became a major hit in 2001 and earned him several awards including “Best Theme Song” in the 2002 FAMAS Awards and Best Performance by a Female Recording Artist in the 2002 Awit Awards. The success of his first single was followed by more hit songs ultimately making him one of the country’s most soulful and well-loved musicians.
